I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, where my family and faith shaped my belief that fairness, hard work, and service to others are the foundation of a good life. My parents instilled in me the Golden Rule — to treat others the way I want to be treated — and to always strive for excellence. That sense of purpose guided me from the classroom, where I was a straight-A student, to the courtroom, where I’ve spent my career standing up for justice and ensuring that every person is treated with dignity and respect.
For more than a decade, I’ve served the people of Harris County as both an attorney and a Felony Associate Judge. I’ve represented clients, presided over serious cases, and mentored young lawyers with the same commitment to fairness and integrity that has guided me since childhood. As Judge of the 495th District Court, I will continue working to ensure that justice in our community remains both fair and firm — protecting the rights of every person while keeping our neighborhoods safe.
